GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR JOB FAIR

Kevin of Eckernet.com (who's returning from a FAR-too-long hiatus and now has a blog that actually works) has 10 pieces of advice for students who are attending the job fair at which he sits behind his company's table. Practical, yet amusing, as, for example, #7:

7) If you don't know how to write a resume, seek help. If you know how to write a resume, have someone else double-check your assumption. If I can't read it and quickly reference important information during our talk I'm going to be annoyed. And if I'm annoyed, chances aren't good that you will be highly recommended. A good general rule is don't annoy me.

#10 is my favorite, though. Two words that really say it all.
