NEW BLOG SHOWCASE CARNIVAL #20
About 2 years ago, I was a sad, tiny, traffickless blogger and - eager to seek attention - I entered this post in the original New Blog Showcase, which was hosted by The Truth Laid Bear (of Ecosystem fame) at the time.
It wasn't a great post, but it was the best I had, and at least entering the Showcase got me over my fear of shouting "Hey! Look at me!" to the blogosphere at large.
Now there's a new New Blog Showcase, and I'm proud to be hosting it and doing my part to say "Gitchy-Gitchy-Goo" to the following adorable baby bloggers:
Shamalama of Common Folk Using Common Sense examines the Constitutional role of the Supreme Court in "The Supreme Court: Let's Make Some New Laws" and questions whether Democrats will be willing to give an up-or-down vote to any person that Bush nominates to fill O'Connor's seat.
Dane Bramage of Dane Bramage channels Leonard Pinth-Garnell with his post "The Smithee Awards Report", in which he briefly reviews some of the worst movies ever made.
Of course, I'm having a hard time seeing a downside to naked nuns in hot tubs, so "Roller Blade" goes on my "must see" list.
Next week's Carnival will be hosted by Sissy of ...And What Next. Any blogger still on the newbie side of his or her 3 month anniversary is encouraged to submit their best post by 7pm EDT Sunday to showcase.carnival-at-gmail.com
Or - better yet - use Conservative Cat's All-Purpose Carnival Submit Form. It's fairly self-explanatory if you've been around for a while, but if this blogging thing is still a little confusing, I've written a gently-hand-holding walkthrough for filling out the form.
Come on, new guys, get up on the bar and shake it a bit. It's liberating ;-)
