HEIGHT QUESTION
Blogdaughter Boudicca of Boudicca's Voice was blogging about her height and had this to say:
I’d rather be my size. I fit in any car, airplane seats aren’t cramped, and although it sucks to not be able to reach the top cabinets, I just don’t put stuff in them. I like the hand I’ve been dealt. Very much.
If I remember correctly, she's right around 5 feet.
Which makes me wonder...
If you had to choose to be either 5 feet tall, 6 feet tall, or 7 feet tall, which would you choose & why?
Personally, I'd go with 6 feet, mostly because that's all the longer the bunks were on the USS Enterprise. Guys who were taller than that just had to learn to sleep bent.

I'm quite happy with the height that I am (5'9"ish) because everything in the world is built for men my height. I can reach the top shelves, and it's not an undue burden for me to bend down for the bottom cabinets. Beds are the perfect length for comfort, and seats and cars are a near-exact fit.
If I *HAD* to choose another height to be, I'd have to go with 6'. 5' is too much of a change to be appealing.
I think it is a man vs. woman question. If I were a man, I'd not want to be 5', I'd go for 6', but not 7. As a woman, I prefer to be smaller... it is what I know. And hey, you cheated me 2 inches. I'm 5'2!!!
I like being my height (5' 2"), but as a man I would want to be close to 6'.
I'm very happy with my 5'5.5"
I wouldn't mind being 5'7"
If I were male, I'd want to be 6'
I am six feet tall and comfortable with it, so I'd go with 6.
Although part of me would like to have my build at 7 feet tall and wander around saying "HARRHAARRHAAR! Crush puny humans!"

Oh yeah, the topic.
I'm going with 6. I'm 5'8" & it sucks. I've only dated two women my height or shorter. Tall guys get all the play.
I'm about 5' 1"...I'd rather be short than tall. I can always get someone to get something off the high shelf for me. Or just one of those grabber things. (Also fun to chase kids with, too1)
Eh, I'll just stay my 5'9. It's gonna be so much fun hugging Tammi when I finally meet her.
Small world - my brother-in-law served on the Enterprise in the mid- to late '90s.
Topic... I'm 5'8" and if were any taller, hugging my short wife would be a pain in the neck... really.
